Web Design

I've been developing and maintaining Web sites since about 1995. I specialize in brochure level Web sites (web brochures), but have also worked with teams on corporate e-business sites. In 2007, I earned a Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) designation. The CUA designation is the world's leading credential for usability practitioners. CUA professionals apply research-based principles to user design interface. This usability philosophy was born out of the concept of how humans react with computers. If you've ever been on a Web site that frustrates you because you can't accomplish your task, then you have just experienced poor usability.

I like to constantly explore new techniques and trends. This has led me to explore a marketing technique that I refer to digital storytelling for business. It's based on the idea that all marketers are storytellers and we want our story to be entertaining and informative to our customers.

Print Design/illustration projects

Periodicals design, production, and/or illustration in the following publications

• Journal of Soil and Water Conservation (a quarterly scientific journal)

• The Business Promo (a self-published newsletter)
